- Rolling pin or something to roll out the dough
Ingredients

2 cups | All-purpose flour |
2 tsp | Baking powder |
1/2 tsp | Salt |
3/3 cup | Cold water |
1 tbsp | Vegetable oil |
Oil for frying |
Directions
- Place dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, and salt) in a bowl and mix.
- Add cold water and tablespoon of oil to dry ingredients.
- Mix until it all comes together. Then let stand for 20 minutes.
- At the same time bring about 3/4 inch of oil up to about 375 degrees (or medium-high heat) in a high walled pan.
- Pinch off about a golf ball size piece of the dough and roll out like a tortilla in a floured surface.
- Once rolled then poke holes with a fork a handful of times throughout the dough.
- Place into oil and cook until light brown on each side.
